On Thursday, September 24, our community packed Asher Lane Bridal for the second annual Fashion Night for a Cause, a black-tie charity bridal fashion show in Bonham, TX. Together, we raised more than $43,000 for the Fannin County Family Crisis Center and collected enough donated essentials to build 50+ care kits for survivors and families in crisis. And the total is still growing.

A Night of Bridal Fashion With a Purpose
The evening opened with a cocktail and networking hour, vendor showcases, and giveaways every 30 minutes. At 7:15, the lights dimmed for the runway show, featuring gowns from our designer collections. The night closed with our grand prize giveaway: a VIP bridal appointment and a wedding gown discount at Asher Lane Bridal.

Why the Fannin County Family Crisis Center Matters
The Fannin County Family Crisis Center supports survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault across Fannin County with a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, advocacy, counseling, and safety planning. Every dollar raised at Fashion Night for a Cause stays local and helps neighbors find safety and a fresh start.
At Asher Lane Bridal, we spend every day celebrating new beginnings. This event lets us extend that same hope to women and families who need it most.

50+ Care Kits for Families Starting Over
Alongside the dollars raised, guests filled our boutique with personal care essentials. Every RSVP came with a simple ask: bring shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. By the end of the night, those donations added up to more than 50 complete care kits for the Fannin County Family Crisis Center.
When someone leaves a dangerous situation, they often leave with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. A care kit is a small thing, but it gives a woman or family a sense of dignity and normalcy in the first hours and days of a new beginning. Thank you to every guest who shopped, packed, and carried those items through our doors.

Two years in, Fashion Night for a Cause has grown into one of our favorite traditions at Asher Lane Bridal. What started as an idea to give back has become an evening that brings together brides, families, local businesses, and North Texas wedding professionals around a cause that matters.
